Helemaal nieuw

Elke begin is moeilijk.

About Lindylou

I try to worthy of my bees. I do my best to treat them as the fantastic creatures that I think they are. I delight in them and worry about them. I work hard at learning to let well alone. Trusting the bees to know what is best for them.... Mortifying but also rewarding

  1. With my very limited translation skills I’m guessing this is your first blog post telling us about your tales of dark bees. Nice hive building too! Good start and hope it all goes well 🙂

Thank you Emma, you are right this was the first step into blogging and it terrified me, I had pushed far away from my mind and when I saw that there was a like (from you) it was quite confrontational and it made me take my head out from the sand. Today I saw that the heading was even spelt wrongly. We call ourselves Noordbijbees. In the heading was written Nood-bij-bees. This translates as Emergency bee bees. I’m sure most of us know that the bees are in need of emergency attention but I have fixed it now. Noord means North, so our little group of black bee enthousiasts call ourselves just that. Northern Bee Bees 2nd word in English because I want to it to be a bilingual blog. There is far more information posted over natural beekeeping on English speaking sites than on Dutch ones. I hope to be able to get more Dutch readers involved and so be able to spread care-full beekeeping expertise further via readers from for instance The Natural Beekeeping Trust and Simple Bees Next week March 14th is the National Bio-dynamic Bee Keepers day. This will be the 2nd time I have attended it. Last year I went alone this year 3 of us from Noordbijbees are going…. We have actually become a club…. Yeah

I read your reply, which I liked 🙂 I’ll leave the translating to others.
